i would like to have the layout like this web, keep it simple and straight forward

for the 'search' bar, i would like to have something like this

in the beginning, i've thought about to make my portfolio like a gaming site which is a 3D world and gives the audiences an immersive experience by browsing around my world

however, it's quite ambitious to build this right now since I don't have much experiences with interactive coding and web building.

So I decided to keep it simple first

(make 'rooms' for different works and catagories)

i categorized what kinds of works I have so far, and tried to sketch the best way of grouping my works with interfaces

I planned to use school and different methods to make good documentation of my works...

however, I've been really sick since last Friday(17th) and tested positive this Wednesday(23rd), so I didn't have energy to continue and also couldn't use the stations at school

but i still want to work on it and did some try outs once I got better:

Reflection

It was a pity I couldn't work on it for the past week. Otherwise, with the planning and use of the stations, it must be much more completed.

But for continuing this project, I would still like to change from what I have so far:
1) makes the competition more interesting for the looping background images
2) I realized how important the unity of a web is, so try to add 1 interactive element to the whole web(?), also remember to unite the style(color, font, etc.)
3) I'm still interested in building some 3D elements, since the other interfaces of the web are quite flat, try to make the 3D part fit in
